Since the Tas e-Connect initiative was launched on 16 March 2009, Tourism Tasmania has held three industry roadshows in locations around the state.

Roadshow One included presentations by Felicia Mariani, CEO Tourism Tasmania; Shane Crockett, Managing Director of V3, Tourism Tasmania’s technology provider; and Claire Ellis, Director of Industry Development Tourism Tasmania. See Presentation [PDF 1.7MB]

Roadshow Two included information about the distribution opportunities presented by Tourism Tasmania’s website, www.discovertasmania.com, which is already connected to the OBX and allows consumers to see real time availability and transact funds instantly for a real time booking. Roadshow Three introduced tourism operators to Open Booking Exchange-integrated reservation management systems at the Tas e-Connect Showcase Series.
