Our Environment: A Paper for Tourism Tasmania's Strategic Planning Forum

This paper provides an overview of the current environment in which Tasmanian tourism is situated.

Following a brief outline of the growth Tasmania has experienced in visitation since the new millenium, the paper looks at the forces currently shaping tourism in Tasmania.

Amongst these factors are the current financial crisis, planning constraints, capacity constraints, access and transport, and changes in the traveller and the products and experiences they are seeking.
