Marketing and development for Tasmania’s tourism industry

Tourism Tasmania is a statutory authority operating under the Tourism Tasmania Act 1996 and is part of the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts.
The authority plays the principal role in marketing Tasmania as a tourist destination, helps the industry achieve sustainable growth and provides strategic advice to the Minister for Tourism.
