The Tourism Information Monitor (TIM) is a new market research tool used by Tourism Tasmania to monitor the state's tourism performance and gain a deeper understanding of potential interstate visitors to our state.
It provides a regular snapshot of changes in the characteristics, behaviours, perceptions, motivations and intentions of travelling Australians and in particular those who are considering travel to Tasmania.
Between August and October 2012, Tourism Tasmania's specialist research staff will be hosting a series of free workshops around the state to introduce the TIM results in greater detail. The workshops provide an opportunity for operators to discuss how the TIM results can help with their business and marketing decisions.
