Tourism Tasmania invites backpacker and budget traveller operators to an informal meeting to discuss the formation of the Backpacker Operator Network (BON).

Tourism Tasmania's Director of Marketing, Kath McCann, will outline Tourism Tasmania’s support for the formation of BON and the collaborative marketing opportunities an industry body like this provides. Rod Parish (The Pickled Frog BP accommodation) and Andrew West (Under Down Under Tours) will present the membership model and the benefits of membership.

The meeting will be held in Launceston on Friday 3 August from 11-1pm and again in Hobart on Tuesday 14 August from 10-12, venues to be advised upon RSVP. Light refreshments will be provided.

Note that if you are not able to attend but would like to receive further information then please let us know by email and we'll send you a BON proposal following the meetings.
