More Jetstar Flights for Hobart

Tasmanians and visitors alike will today benefit from an increase in flights between Melbourne and Hobart.
The Minister for Economic Development and Tourism, Paula Wriedt, welcomed the increase in flights from Jetstar between Melbourne and Hobart today.
“As of today, the number of Jetstar daily return flights will be boosted to five and the total number of extra weekly seats increased to 2,500,” Ms Wriedt said.
“Jetstar’s announcement is further evidence of the growing popularity of Tasmania as a desirable destination, this great news for Tasmanians and visitors,” Ms Wriedt said.
